Canbus Translator V2- Wire in version - BRZ/86/FRS

The Canbus Translator V2 is the new translator taken over from the first canbus translator that was originally designed for fitting late model V8 GM LS engines into the Subaru brand of vehicle, including the BRZ (or Toyota 86/Scion FRS). It translates the Subaru/Toyota Canbus messages to either GM Canbus or can be used in non-Canbus systems with discrete wiring. This allows the vehicles instrument cluster (tachometer, temperature gauge and engine related warning lights) to work correctly with the new engine system. It also ensures other systems within the car function correctly, such as the Electric Power Steering and ABS/Traction Conrol.
The Canbus Translator can also be used with non canbus engines, or engines with a non standard Canbus messaging system if it is wired up to the engines tachometer output and with an optional coolant temperature sender. With this setup it will work with pretty much any engine system. The downside of this setup is there is no way for traction control to function.
The latest V2 version adds a host of extra functions and does just about everything the plug and play version does, including Cruise Control, Pushbutton Start, Air Conditionting and a two stage traction control calibration.
An on board bluetooth module can be added as an option during ordering, if no bluetooth module is ordered, the translator uses the 1inch screen as per the original V1 translator to display running data.
The new V2 version also has an analog throtle pedal conversion allowing the use of the OEM BRZ/86/FRS accelerator pedal to LS3 pedal. A translator to pedal 1metre cable can be added as an option to save some wiring.
The main connection plug is compatible with the V1 translator, so vehicles wired with the V1 translator can upgrade by simply swapping it out (wiring to the V2s 2nd and 3rd plugs take care of extra wiring that may be required to make use of the V2s extra functions.
